Name : Kobidzeebis Marani

"Kobidzeebis Marani" is a cooperative working on wine-making in the village Erketi, Chokhatauri municipality. The Guria region has always been distinguished with particular wine-making traditions and unique sorts of grapes. The cooperative members also have a long family tradition of wine-making, which they continue up to day. The cooperative itself was created four years ago, when the members decided to particopate in cooperative development program.

"Kobidzeebis Marani" produces  wine from the unique endemic sort of grapes, from Guria region: "Chkhaveri" and "Jani-Skhilatubani". Despite little amount of the territories, the cooperative is working to enlarge its production, because the wine is gaining more attention in and outside of Georgia.

"Kobidzeebis Marani" has a lot of future plans, which involves building their own wine-vanults and a small factory, enlarging the production and promoting the unique wines of the region.
