Cooperative "Gvirila" was founded in 2016 in Guria region and unites 21 farmers. Its members practice livestock farming and land cultivation, which they own in Tetristkaro region, East Georgia. They transport and sell the hay from their lands in West Georgia, or distribute among cooperative members for feeding the livestock.
With the supprot form the cooperatives project, Gvirila received the truck for transporting hay, a tractor and hay meadow. The equipment benefited cooperative a lot, making their effort easier and more productive. With the saved money, they can provide more hay for livestock with less cost.
In the future, the cooperative plans to prepare animal food with hay, as well.
"We wish to gain more members in the future and improve in farming. The more we expand and work to provide more hay, the more benefits each of us will have".
