The cooperative "Tabgaal" works in difficult nature and road conditions in high mountains of Lentekhi municipality, trying to introduce their natural dry fruit productiion to many people. When modern technologies and traditions come together, achieving success becomes easier.

"Tabgaal" means a table in Svan language. It's also one if the varieties of pear, which cooperative own in their nursery of 8500 square metre territory. The cooperative was also called "tabgaal". Along with nursery, the cooperative also produces dry fruit, with their long experience: "winter lasts almost 9 months here, so the dry fruit was more beenficial. This is the old technology that is familiar to us: dog-rose, barambo-this is these are the few of the plants and fruit that Tabgaali finds in highlands of Svaneti.

The farmers in highland regions have to work in difficult conditions. The climate is sever in Lentekhi and the agriculture work is often defined by the weather. Transportation is also difficult. Despite the experience, Tabgaali needed support for continuing their work and production. To overcome the barriers, the cooperative participted in the project for cooperatives.

"Tabgaali" received truck for transportation, that they use for transporting plants and their products. The work has become easier now. With cofinancing the cooperative renovated the building, where the fruit drying facilities are situated, which they received from the project.  The ecological products of "Tabgaal"  are on demand, thus the cooperative started to extnesively work on its development. Through different trainings within the project, the cooperative got introduced with new technologies of dry fruit production and added them to traditional methods.

'Tabgaal" has a lot of plans and needs support to carry them on. The most important resource is a water, which the cooperative lacks. The cooperative needs to install water system in its nursery. It also wishes to rehabilitate a road easya ccess to the territory. After acquiring necessary finances, the cooperative plans to open and point in the village, where the locals are able to sell their products and will be beneficial. With more support, Tabgaal will manage to use the best of the region reasonably, expand the production and bring more benefits to the village.
